Vision
The Amateur Spaceflight Association (ASA) is a non-profit
organization formed to pioneer the field of non-professional space research
and exploration. The primary focus of ASA is to encourage, assist, and
facilitate the amateur’s reach into space, enabling the advancement
of space research. Our Mission
Statement best details the call of ASA:
Promote space-related
activities in such a manner that safely challenges the technical limits of
amateur space flight.
Through hands-on projects and team building programs, ASA teaches
general aerospace education to students.
The purpose of these programs is to excite students about
engineering, science, and
ASA consists of a dedicated staff of engineers, scientists, and
businesspersons that volunteer their time to make these projects a
reality. In addition to the staff of
volunteers, ASA maintains an Advisory
Board of highly experienced aerospace professionals whose wealth of
experience guides ASA’s endeavors.
